We are looking for a dedicated, self-motivated applicant to join our fun and hardworking team with our work in the community at the Colleton Museum, Farmers Market, and Commercial Kitchen. This position will be responsible for assisting with the day to day operation of the retail space shared by the Colleton Museum, Farmers Market, and Commercial Kitchen; providing excellent customer service; assisting with membership management for the facility; operating the café food service counter sales; monitor kitchen inventory and place orders as necessary to replenish stock. Reports directly to the Museum, Farmers Market and Commercial Kitchen Manager. This position is scheduled to work Tuesday – Saturday during regular operating hours.
This person will be the friendly face that greets guests at the front counter. The candidate must be friendly, reliable, and pay close attention to detail. A high school diploma and one to two years of general office/computer experience is required. Clover POS System experience is a plus. Candidate will operate the token system for the Farmers Market, collect fees and the associated paperwork. Candidate will need to be able to build and maintain positive relationships with clients in the Commercial Kitchen, the lunch businesses, and know how to safely operate some of the equipment in the Commercial kitchen. Training will be provided. Candidate must be able to work independently.
Hours of operation are:
Tuesday: 11am – 7pm
Wednesday: 9am – 5pm
Thursday: 9am – 5pm
Friday: 9am – 5pm
Saturday: 8am – 2pm
