The Colleton County Technology Department is responsible for the overall management and implementation of the County’s Technology initiatives that include the following:
- Day-to-day operation of all computers and peripherals
- Software\application set-up, maintenance, and patches
- Troubleshooting, repairs, backups, and optimization
- Printer troubleshooting, supplies, services and support
- On-premise server, storage, and application hosting and maintenance
- Routing, switching, and data network installation, management, monitoring and support
- Telephone, conferencing, fax, and mobile cellular services, management, and support
- Individual and group e-mail and instant messaging services and support
- Geographic Information System (GIS) coordination, development, and management
- Provide printed maps to the public
- Process requests for County data. Request Data Here.

- Documentation (as it relates to both Information Technologies and Geographic Information Systems)

This office Does NOT:
- Provide copies of deeds or plats
- Address public inquiries regarding property values or ownership
- Supply copies of tax bills or assessment notices
- Assign street addresses
The County provide the following data exports free of charge. Any other data requests may be subject to an processing fee of $1,000 per hour to create. We reserve the right to decline to fulfill special data requests.

- Street lines (GIS Shapefile)
- Assessor Tax Extract (Excel Spreadsheet)
Yes, we provide online and over the counter GIS & mapping services. Print maps can be obtained from our office in various sizes, from standard letter (8.5"x11") to as large as 36"x48". Basic parcel map services are offered free of charge, with the exception of the fee for the print-out. We also offer custom map design services for a fee.
