Colleton County Government is accepting applications/resumes for Golf Pro Shop Assistant Manager at the Dogwood Hills Golf Course and Facilities. The successful candidate will, under limited supervision, assist with managing and directing the operational and fiscal performance of the facility in compliance with state, federal, county and municipal ordinances. Will assist with administering and supervising the activities and personnel of Dogwood Hills Golf Course and Facilities to include the Pro-Shop, Cart Operations, Ground Maintenance and Snack Bar.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Recreation with an emphasis on golf course management preferred or an additional four years of work experience in customer relations. Must have knowledge of and experience with the golf industry. A valid Driver’s License required. Must meet and deal with the public comfortably, and have at least 4 years’ experience in a public relations field. Equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities will be considered. Pre-employment drug screen and a satisfactory background check also required.
