Colleton County Government is accepting applications from qualified individuals for a Maintenance Technician 4 in the Facilities Department. The successful candidate will under general supervision, perform a variety of skilled/ semi-skilled maintenance duties such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and/or HVAC, as well as general grounds and custodial care work, related to the general maintenance and repair of County owned and operated buildings and facilities.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two years’ experience at the apprentice level in trades, building operations, and/or construction industry or any combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving history. Submit a three (3) year driving record along with application. Pre-employment drug screen and a satisfactory background check is also required.
