Colleton County Government is accepting applications for the part-time position of Site Attendant in the Solid Waste Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operation of the site, to include opening and closing the site, maintaining cleanliness of the site, monitoring cans, assisting residents in need with proper disposal of trash, and providing instruction to residents of the proper disposal of trash.
The successful candidate should be able to stand for a lengthy period of time, lift up to 30 pounds, and operate a trash compactor. Reliable transportation to work, weekend work hours, pre-employment drug screen and a satisfactory background check are also required.
